Self-help eBooks for life's messiest moments
When your chest is tight, your thoughts are racing, and you feel like you're barely holding it together - the last thing you want is a 12-step, 300 page, spiritual awakening in hardcover.
You don’t need heavy. You need light. You need a lifeline that feels doable - something that makes you laugh first, and then helps you breathe enough to move forward.
That's exactly what our short-form, funny.ish self-help books do. I'm creating a new format:
- Relatable.
- Bite-sized.
- Funny-but-true.
So whether you’re here for a little comfort, a little humor, or just a relatable, no-pressure way to work on yourself ... welcome. You’re exactly where you need to be.

Let's be real
Let me be clear: nothing on this site or in these books is professional advice. I’m not licensed in anything except overthinking. But I have been through depression, anxiety, burnout, people-pleasing, and plenty of those “what even is life” spirals.
And somewhere along the way, I started writing things down - the stuff that helped me, made me laugh, or reminded me I wasn’t totally broken.
Okayish is here to remind you that you’re not alone. That being “okayish” is still something. And that healing doesn’t always look like a Pinterest board - sometimes it looks like messy notes, weird metaphors, and laughing when you probably shouldn’t.
